6.26.11

Wow, can someone please slow down the hands of time? I blink and another week goes by. These little ones are growing right before my very eyes......and I just can't keep up with them! Especially, little Miss Lola! The pictures below are of when she was one month... and it's already approaching three weeks since those pictures were taken. I try to take all the pictures I can. Unfortunately, I feel as though it will take me another lifetime to organize, edit and post them. So, you will be subjected to my random and sporadic postings. But once again, I must reassure you that most all events are well documented. You might just get to see them........one of these days.

It has been SO hot here lately! We were very excited to get a short break from the heat a few days ago -- we were actually able to spend some time outside without melting (you know --it's all sugar and spice at the Coffee house!)! I know I keep mentioning this -- I'm still hoping to continue our Square Foot Garden saga. We've had some ups and downs -- but, it's definitely been worth the hard work. We are currently enjoying tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, lettuce, and a few cucumbers. We were getting quite a few squash until the squash bugs found us. BUT, I think I zapped them with our soapy water combo. We shall see...........

This evening we made a trip to Arkadoo to celebrate my Mom's Birthday -- Happy Birthday, Bebe!!! We "surprised" her by doing this......however, my dad confessed to dropping a few hints here and there. Needless to say, we enjoyed lots of food and had lots of fun! We got home pretty late and our bedtime schedules were a little off. I guess that's why I'm up at this crazy hour. What am I thinking? I need to go to bed myself. Will try and post again soon!! :)
