Sugar's Day - last day of kindergarten

Sigh.

My big-little girl.

SERIOUSLY?!?

What a difference a year makes (and that's a school-year...so, that's nine months).

She's growing so fast it hurts.

Sugar's graduation day was pushed back due to severe weather, so, we decided to pick her up early from school and make a day of it!

She was FREEZING at this point. Soaking wet clothes, plus cool breeze, plus snow cone = chattering teeth!

We stopped by the office to see Hot Coffee and show him Sugar's medal!

Guest Foodie Friday Post

I am excited because TODAY I have the guest post for FOODIE FRIDAY on the Arkansas Women Blogger's (AWB) page. If you are anything like me, there are times when I disappear fromt the bloggy world for days, weeks, MONTHS at a time due to the craziness around me. That happened recently. FORTUNATELY, I was asked to do this post a few months ago, and it brought me back! For that, I am thankful (thanks, Debbie!)!

I hope to share more adventures I've had while in my first year of farmers' market manager. It has been just that -- an adventure! I've learned a lot, met many new people, dealt with controversy, overcome adversity, and have enjoyed spending special time with my parents (they come down most weeks and are vendors at the market). I love that my girls have been in the market environment. They love to shop the market (boy, do they!) We have eaten more fresh produce this summer than ever before -- it's been wonderful!

And....it happened again

Has it really been one month since my last post?

No WAY!

This summer is FLYING by at lightning speed!

I had a little fire placed under me this past week to get me back to the bloggy world.

I'm brainstorming new ways to stay connected.

I always regret when I go lengthy periods without blogging.

My time management skills are lacking...

But when the alarm goes off at 4:30a.m.,

and I close my eyes between the hours of 12 or 1a.m...

I can't seem to find the spare blogging moments.

Something's gotta give! ;)

And it WON'T be my time with these three beauties!
