Birthday Party Fun

I guess it's been a couple of weeks now (I have a hard time keeping dates straight!), but Darbs and I ventured over to Miss Lynnley's birthday party. Daddy was headed out of town for his deer hunt. Anyway -- we had a fun time, and there was lots to do and see. Darby Kate enjoyed most things from a distance. She didn't touch the bird, or ride the miniature horse, but she held the bunnies and had her face painted. She ran around (after she got warmed up) -- and even enjoyed some cake!

I was a little freaked out by the bird!
