Bumblebee boots

Darby Kate loves her rain boots. The other night, she got out her boots and decided that's what she would be wearing for the evening.

One part of this independent phase has been that she does NOT want me to touch her spoon, cup, plate or anything. Not even to steady the bowl while she eats. Or - as in the case below -- dips. She loves to dip -- she doesn't care what it is -- if she can dip it -- it's all good!

in this case, it was venison chili -- yummy -- thanks daddy!!
