Throwin' Some Fits!

Well, I think we are in for some serious fits! What am I talking about -- we have ALREADY had some serious fit throwin'. I knew it was coming, but I didn't exactly know what to expect. Let's just say that Miss Darby Kate is very head-strong, and determined. Of course, these fits come at the most opportune times. If you can get her mind on something else, things seem to cool down fairly quickly. If not -- ooooooooooh lah lah -- you're in for it. I almost didn't think we were going to make it to church this morning. She did NOT want to get dressed. She loves going diaper only these days. It took both Trevor and I to hold her down to get onesie, dress, tights, and shoes on. I didn't press my luck with the oh-so-cute bloomers to go on top.

2nd fit of the day occurred at Babe's house. It was our first time to actually have to get up from the table during a meal. Well, I never even started the meal. She refused to sit in her booster seat. We wrestled with her to get her in, but by then -- she had herself so worked up -- there was no WAY she was going to stay there and eat.

It's definitely a learning experience. She's so precious though -- because, a lot of times after she gets really upset -- she'll come over and give me a big hug and just squeeze and squeeze me. Does she already know how to tug on these heartstrings? Of course she does!!!
