My Dirty Little "Maniac"

I know the title of this post is a little strange, but that's what I thought of today when Darbs presented herself the way she did. Needless to say, we didn't do much getting ready this morning, but this afternoon when we were about to head over to Miss Penny's to play for a while, I put a headband on. Darby Kate felt the need to wear one as well. She wanted to "dude it" herself. ("I dude it" is how she says "I do it" -- if I haven't shared that with you already). Anyway, with the headband combined with the extra dirty face caused by a runny nose -- she wore her headband like the girl on flashdash (she can do that little maniac dance, too!)

We had a fun day of doing laundry, coloring, playing @ Miss Penny's, going for a walk, and playing with Daddy. She did have some down time, but when she woke up she was terribly stuffy and wasn't too much of a happy camper. She went to bed okay, but I won't be surprised if she wakes in the night due to difficulty breathing through her little nose. Bless her heart. She is such a sweetie and joy.
