Ohhhhhh my blogging woes!  I thought YOU ALL were the ones in trouble.......limitless photos to post at my fingertips......and then it all goes up in smoke!  Expert bloggers, Gretchan and Clancy, gave me wonderful advice (thanks so much!!) on how to improve my blogging experience, i.e. to be able to load as many pictures as needed and in a timely manner.  HOWEVER -- my slow poke computer continues to heed my progress!!  I was fortunate enough to get a handful of pictures uploaded before it decided to freeze the process all together.  Boo hoo!!  We are hoping to update our computer soon, but in the meantime.......well, I'll try to figure something out.

SOOOOO much has happened in these last few weeks.  We basically function at 100 mph, sleep, and wake up running at the same speed.  As I've said before, I'm trying not to let the lack of blogging stress me out -- I'm trying to enjoy by baby girls while they're baby girls.  I've got 100's of pictures to share.  And, I do my best to journal about what's going on.  One day I'll catch up.........yeah -- one day.  :)

We really enjoyed our trip to Destin last week!  Oh, I could live on the beach!!  The weather was really nice, we enjoyed some terrific seafood, we celebrated birthdays (Poppy's and Spice's) and an anniversary (mine and the Hub's -- EIGHT years), we shopped and went deep sea fishing.  That's just to name a few.......check out Clancy's blog (link is up above) for more detailed info (sorry, but it just makes sense at the moment to refer you there.......I'm being captivated by a beautiful almost-four month old.  She's cooing and smiling and keeping me very entertained).  ANYWAY -- the week went by at lightening speed as well.  The girls were great.  Bean chilled out on beach like a champ!  She never ceases to amaze us.  I am totally in awe of her -- she has the sweetest little personality!  Oh, I'm sorry -- am I bragging?  You're right -- I am.  I just can't help it!!  Don't worry -- usually when I get like this they will turn on me -- showing me their spicy side.  Definitely keeping me in check!!

We had Spice's two-year well- visit yesterday.  She weighed in at 27 lbs 6oz.  She is in the 60th percentile for her weight and height.  She had to get one shot and did NOT even cry!!  She is my good eater.  She loves to eat in general, but especially loves TREATS.  She definitely has my sweet tooth (it's a good thing we know a great dentist!).  I'm really enjoying our time together these days.  I know, I often speak of her tornadic abilities and temper tantrums, but those are typically short-lived.  She is a true joy.  She says new things daily.  She is talking in 3-4 word sentences.  She loves to run around the house and sing and laugh.  She loves to put on jewelry and push around her shopping cart.  She loves to do everything her big sister does.  She's still a daddy's girl.  I need to video her when Trevor comes home.  She gives him a big greeting every time, and  I know the Hubs absolutely loves it!  Spice is going through.........well, let's just call it an interesting phase.  (it's actually pretty gross, but since I'm her mom -- I guess I'll be nice)  She is exploring her diaper.  She wants it off right away -- if it's wet OR dirty.  I know she is screaming signs of potty training -- but, the girl will NOT go in the potty.  We have tried!!  She makes great efforts at times, but for the most part -- she is more interested in getting paper and flushing than anything.  She's a mess.  LITERALLY!  If she's missing for more than 3 minutes -- I know I had better go and find the child because more than likely -- the diaper is OFF!!  Dr. D. sent me home with a program called "Potty Time".......I'll let you know how it goes.  Oh yeah, and I'm open to any and all advice!  :)

We have celebrated Spice's birthday with not one, but TWO sunshine parties!  Once in the sunshine state, and once at Bebe and Poppa's house.  I won't go into details without posting the pictures, but both were very nice and the kiddos had a fun time!  It actually turned out to be a super-cute theme.  I didn't get to go as "all-out" as I like, but we did the best we could.  There are so many cute ideas out there.....when I get to my post about the party I will try to put the links on here that I found.  Yeah, I know.  I'm getting all fancy and stuff.  Whatever!  I can only hope that my computer skills will somehow miraculously improve -- and SOON!!!

Gotta run for now -- I'm suppose to be in there washing the never-ending pile of dishes AND putting up stuff from our trip (pitiful, yes)!!!
